Reycine Mc Kenzie, MSc.

Founder and Clinical Psychologist

Reycine Mc Kenzie has worked in the mental health industry for 10+ years. She currently serves diverse populations, including those with normative life problems to those with clinical issues such as – but not limited to – unresolved trauma, mood disorders (e.g. depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder), disordered eating (e.g. anorexia), and personality disorders. She works with clients ages 10+ and offers individual, couples, and family counselling. She is also trained in several psychotherapies, including cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic, interpersonal, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

Ms. Mc Kenzie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with highest honours from Suffolk University, Boston, and a master’s in clinical psychology from the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium – a joint program between Stanford University School of Medicine and Palo Alto University in California. She is also currently pursuing her doctorate in clinical psychology from California Southern University. In Ms. Mc Kenzie’s academic career, she received multiple awards for her contributions to the psychology field and community, outstanding overall performance, and commitment to the betterment of her respective educational institutions. She has additional experience in psychological research, psychological assessment, and doing mental health workshops for organisations throughout the Caribbean region.

With a passion for community service and advocacy, Ms. Mc Kenzie has worked with several nonprofits, both locally and internationally, participating in a variety of activities and projects including conducting needs assessments for NGOs, building houses (with Habitat for Humanity), and counseling those who have endured major life stressors and abuse pro bono.
